Orbivon AI uses a credit-based system (Account Credits) to manage AI model usage across our platform. Credits provide a fair and transparent way to track your AI consumption while giving you flexibility to use different models based on your needs.
If you reach your credit limit, you can instantly increase your available credits by purchasing one-time credit plans.

How Credits Work

Credits deduct for all user messages to Orbivon Copilot, including:
  • Ask Mode
  • Edit Mode

Credit Calculation

Credits are calculated based on the actual computational cost of each AI request. The system uses a precise formula that accounts for:
  • Input Tokens: Text you send to the AI model. (prompts, context, questions)
  • Output Tokens: Text generated by the AI model. (responses, completions)
  • Model Pricing: Different AI models have different computational costs.

Usage Example

Example 01: Simple Question (AWS Nova Lite)

  • Input: “What is artificial intelligence?” (50 tokens)
  • Output: “Artificial intelligence (AI) is…” (200 tokens)
  • Credits Used: (50 × 0.00006 + 200 × 0.00024) × 100,000 = 5.1 credits

Example 2: Generate a Diagram (Claude Sonnet 4)

  • Input: Instructions (800 tokens)
  • Output: Detailed analysis and suggestions (500 tokens)
  • Credits Used: (800 × 0.006 + 500 × 0.0225) × 100,000 = 1,605 credits

Example 3: Document Generation (Claude Sonnet 4)

  • Input: Requirements and context (1,000 tokens)
  • Output: Complete document (2,000 tokens)
  • Credits Used: (1,000 × 0.006 + 2,000 × 0.0225) × 100,000 = 5,100 credits

  • Choose the right model: Use AWS Nova Lite for simpler tasks to conserve credits.
  • Be concise: Shorter prompts use fewer input tokens.
  • Iterative refinement: Sometimes multiple small requests are more efficient than one large request.

  • Manual Credits: Purchased separately as needed.
  • Unified Expiration: Both types expire together at subscription renewal.
