# Document Formatting

You can select text and format it by using these options from the bubble menu:

* **Change heading**: Convert text to headings (levels 1-6).
* **Bold**: Emphasize text with stronger weight.
* **Italic**: Apply slanted styling.
* **Underline**: Add a line beneath text.
* **Strikethrough**: Add a line through text.
* **Superscript**: Raise text above the line.
* **Subscript**: Lower text below the line.
* **Inline code**: Format text as code within a sentence.
* **Hyperlink**: Add clickable links to text.

Combine formatting options to create more complex styles. For example:

1. Select text
2. Click the bold option
3. Click the italic option to make text both bold and italic

  Some combinations aren't possible. For example, you can't apply bold to text that's already formatted as inline code.
